West Midlands Rowielia Single Malt Whisky Description

The second release from the West Midlands Distillery is a wonderful, lightly peated, expression. Posited as a “gateway” into peated whisky, the team at West Midlands hope they can delight people on both ends of the peated versus unpeated whisky spectrum. The bottling is named ‘Rowielia’ aIer the Anglo Saxon words for Rowley Regis, our distillery home; and the liquid celebrates the stone, coal and smoke that made the region famous.

The signature rich, bold spirit remains at the core of this release, with light smoke throughout which opens up into a fruity expression. As with their first release, each bottle is individually hand painted by the distillery team, as well as one side of the outer sleeve. The colours depict the cask and flavour profile, the key to which is inside the packaging.
