A chance to try the full flavoured, heavily peated Longrow, finished in a French Pinot Noir cask. Each release of Longrow Red shows the interesting things Springbank distillery can do with their heavily peated expression, aged in an unusual cask.

Aged first in bourbon for 4 years, then finished in French Pinot Noir casks for 3 years.

Official Tasting Notes
Nose: A herbal, vegetal note is immediately apparent with notes of tomato plant and heather, along with touches of morello cherries and smoky bacon.
Palate: Savoury and sweet meet on the palate with notes of smoked ham, wine gums, raspberry jam and honey.
Finish: Characteristic coastal notes come to the forefront in the finish of this dram.
