Description
To mark Burns Night 2025, Lochlea Distillery launched its oldest whisky to date: Lochlea 6 Year Old. The single malt was produced at the Ayrshire distillery, which describes itself as “field-to-cask”, from whisky filled into a trio of bourbon barrels and three oloroso sherry casks*. The six casks were then selected by master blender Jill Boyd (in what is her first big release after succeeding the legendary John Campbell) and distillery manager Darren McCormick.
