Description
Specially selected for the Cadenhead’s Club, this Caol Ila 18yo 57.1% was finished in an Oloroso cask that previously held Springbank, instilling an abundance of rich flavours into this Islay dram. The nose contains sweet notes but also a hint of meatiness before the taste gives off hints of cranberries, soya sauce and a slight smokiness. The finish has custard cream notes followed by the expected smokey nature.
