On May 23, 2025, Ardbeg unveiled a spectacular surprise for this year’s Feis Ile festival: Ardbeg Homecoming, a bold, cask-strength single malt whisky available exclusively at the distillery on Islay. Bottled at an assertive 56.1% ABV, this limited edition captures the daring spirit Ardbeg is known for.

Finished in aged rum barrels, the Homecoming release introduces an intriguing twist to the iconic Islay smokiness, bringing a touch of exotic sweetness to the intense peat character. Aromas of smoky fudge and ripe banana intertwine with fragrant pine and fennel, while the palate is greeted by a creamy, full-bodied mouthfeel with hints of menthol and spiced coffee.
