TASTING
NOSE

Deep and expressive, with aromas of dark berries, plum skin and redcurrant over layers of polished oak, cocoa and cured leather. Hints of clove, eucalyptus and dried herbs lift the richness, while Mortlach’s meaty depth provides a firm backbone.

PALATE

Opens with dried fruits and dark honey before turning distinctly savoury, showing notes of roasted malt, soy, and charred oak. The texture is dense and umami-laden, balanced by a gentle sweetness of spiced fruit and wine tannin. Complex, structured and mouth-coating, it finishes long and dry with lingering oak spice and a subtle savoury warmth.
